Committee Description

Crisis committees are special because they do not have a parallel in the real United Nations. Instead, the Joint Crisis Committee strives to teach diplomacy, cooperation and political debate through the simulation of an invented crises which is occurring in the very moment. These can be wars, threats of war and diplomatic conflicts between various states and non-state actors. The delegate’s role is to ensure the best outcome for their country/position and, if possible, to change the outcome of the crisis for the better.

Leonie Zander

Cabinet Leader

Dear All!
My Name is Leonie Zander and I am going to chair the CC at this year’s KAMUN. I started my MUN career when I was 14 years old – and instantly got addicted. So far, I took part in several conferences as both delegate and chair, visiting a wide range of different committees.
I never lost my passion for international politics, but decided to study Midwifery nevertheless. Babys simply are a lot cuter than the average UN-Delegate (No offense there, I love MUNers!) and don’t have the annoying habit of always trying to ruin your line of argument. I love traveling, the thrill of debate and getting to know new people. In short: I love participating in MUNs and am now looking forward to working with the creative, crazy and backstabbing delegates of JCC.
Exited to see you all in November,
Leonie

Bo Sixt Finckh

Cabinet Leader

My name is Bo and I am currently studying Law at the University of Bologna.
Originally from Germany, I started doing MUN in college and it quickly became my passion that lead me all around the globe, from Montréal to Panama to Karlsruhe.
Having attended KaMUN twice as delegate, the time has now come for me to step on the other side and be a chair.
Others would describe me as stubborn but funny and open-minded. It is said that I like talking about sports and am bad at fussball. Want to find out if this is true or not? Talk to me at KaMUN!
