Where does KaMUN take place?
KaMUN – The Black Forest Summit takes place in Karlsruhe, which is located in Southern Germany.

KaMUN – The Black Forest Summit 2019 will take place on the weekend from 15th to 17th of November 2019.
Who organizes KaMUN – The Black Forest Summit?
The conference KaMUN – The Black Forest Summit is organized by the Model United Nations Initiative Karlsruhe e.V., a university group of about 30 students.
How big and international is the conference?
We are expecting around 150 to 200 participants from around the globe.
Do I need MUN experience?
No. There are several committees to attend, each with a suggestion regarding your MUN experience.
How do I apply as delegate, delegation or chair?
How much does the conference cost?
To cover all cost delegates are asked to pay a 55€ delegate fee. We follow a „Leave your wallet“ policy that does not leave you a chance to spend extra money. For details check out the delegate information page. Until September 30th you may use discount code „EarlyWorm“ for an early bird discount.
How can I pay for the conference?
We offer a normal bank transfer as well as PayPal and credit card options. The bank details will be on your confirmation email. In special
How do I / we request a country assignment?
For a fair country allocation process and to incentivize early registrations country placement is done on a first come first serve basis. So waste no more time and save your spot here.
What is the deadline for registrations?
Early Bird phase ends on September
Do I have to submit position papers?
As soon as you are assigned to a nation and committee, you are able to submit a position paper via email to your chairs.
What happens with the personal information and documents I send you?
We use your data for preparation and administration of the conference only.

Are electronical devices allowed during the sessions?
Will there be a dress code during the conference?
The guideline for the dress code of KAMUN 2018 is western business attire.
What is the conference language?
English is the official and working language of the conference.
Are meals included in the conference fee?
Yes, included in the conference fee are:
- Drinks and Snacks at all times,
- Lunch and Drinks on Saturday and Sunday,
- Delegate Dinner on Saturday and
- Breakfast on Sunday.
How can I get WiFi at KaMUN – The Black Forest Summit 2019?
Students from European universities can use the eduroam network which is provided all over the campus. If you do not come from Europe, we will be glad to provide you with a single-time key to our university network at the registration.
